HOW TO TAKE A PCR TEST

pROCESS BELOW

This is for registration of: PCR Day 2 Tests PCR Outbound Tests Please register your test kit using this link:

Once you receive your test kit it is essential that you register your barcode online (this can be found on the side of your test tube) by heading to https://officialrapidtests.com/register-pcr.

If you do not register your barcode online, you will not receive your results

Now take your test, for instructions on how to take your test accurately click here.

Once you have completed your test, place the swab (soft tip first) inside the carrier tube and break at the narrower halfway point.

Close the tube lib tightly and make sure it no longer rotates. Complete the request form in BLOCK CAPITALS if you have received this with your order.

Place the collection tube inside the plastic case. Place the sample tube at the top of the Biohazard bag and remove the silver foil, seal the bag closed.

Place your registration form into the outer sleeve. Place the completed sample inside the return envelope.

You can now return your sample to our lab, we recommend you take a picture of your return label and barcode for reference.

The return label is included in your item and will have the return address on it.

Post your sample in your nearest Priority Post Box, please post your completed test no later than 1 hour before the last collection. You can find your nearest Priority Post Box at: https://www.royalmail.com/priority-postboxes

Collection times may differ during the weekends. However, the Royal Mail Priority Post box website displays the details of those collected on Sundays and Bank Holidays.

You will be notified by email once your results are ready. Note: If you are travelling over weekend or on Monday, we advise you to drop your test sample by Friday since few of the Royal Mail collection boxes do not operate over weekends which might cause delay in getting your results.
