How To Take Your Day 2 PCR test

STEP BY STEP - RT-PCR TESTS (DAY 2)

STEP 1

Click here and sign up, use the clinic ID and barcode you received in your confirmation email. Select the test you require from the drop down menu, fill in your passenger details and enter an email and password to create an account. Once you have completed the registration process you will receive a PLF code via email.

Step 2 - Take your test

The day you arrive in the UK is day 0. Therefore if you arrive on Monday (day 0) then Tuesday is day 1 and Wednesday is day 2. At this point, before you have received your self-test kit , the status of your account will show as ‘pending kit activation’ – there is nothing more you need to do at this stage.

Once you have received your self-test kit and proceeded to do your test, please log into your account on mytesthub.co.uk. Click on order and then view. Here you must enter your 10 or 11 digit barcode beginning with PHC or FJA; along with the date and time of conducting the test against the corresponding day. This unique barcode can be found on the side of your test tube and is different for each test.

An example of a valid barcode is PHC1234567 or FJA12345678 If you have RM a postal kit, you must also enter the 13 character Royal Mail tracking number, found on the affixed Royal Mail label on the front of the envelope.

We also advise you to take a picture of your test tube barcode and Royal Mail Tracking number as a safety measure in case you need to refer to it. We suggest the use of a desktop or laptop, not on a mobile device when activating your test kit to avoid any issues. The status will change as you activate your barcode and again when your results are made available.

Step 3 - Send your test back to the lab

Once you have completed the registration of your test kit barcode and ID online, post your samples back to our lab for analysis:

Lab Address
Nonacus Birmingham Research Park, 97 Vincent Dr, Birmingham B15 2SQ

Step 4 - Get Your Results

Your results will then be available to view on your online account within 24 hours from reaching our lab. Please also factor in the time it takes for Royal Mail to delvier your samples to the lab.

It's that straightforward, enjoy your travels!
